My nephew attends college in Missouri, and was involved in an auto accident with their insured over a month ago. Their insured claimed fault because of their negligence and failure to yield ongoing traffic by making a U-turn and causing the accident.

The police were called and a ticket was written which documents their named insurer negligence. We opened a claim with AmFam within a timely manner, and it has been over a month since the accident occurred, and NO ONE from AmFam HS has processed the claim. The BMW is currently sitting on campus “F^cked Up!! An AmFam HS CSR stated, “They can’t reach their client to get a statement” and suggested we open a claim with our insurance company State Farm “BS”!

Police Report+Case Number=STATEMENT We’re in Virginia in this has been a NIGHTMARE or as the subject line reads “AmFam HORROR STORY”. We of course would have to pay our deductible with our insurance, and pray to get reimbursed from these Scam Artists. *** NO, we’re not going through our insurance!

We’ve decided to reach out for legal counsel, and change of plans since you want to procrastinate on claims processing turnaround times I suggest you can add in my families pain and suffering, undue stress, and diminished value of our BMW = Circuit Court. Better Business Bureau ~ Complaint State Bureau of Insurance ~ Complaint AmFam lack of caring and complete lack of urgency is apparently one of the top job expected qualification for their employees.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.
